I don't really understand why you entitled this blog "Song of the Settler".
Ariel Zilber lives in Matat which is a small community on the Israeli side of the Lebanon border. The song Karish was writen be famous Israeli song writer Noami Shemer who lived in a Kibbutz, and was her response to the Israel - Egypt peace negotiations in the 70's.
