I did it. I got a dog. Kids wore me down.

Now why is he not eating? What is he supposed to do all day until the kids get home? Anyhow, he's a rescue dog. Name's Hank. He's a mutt. Woman who got him for us calls it a "schnoodle"-- mix between schnauzer and poodle. Don't ask me more-- this is the first dog I've ever had. Pets were not a big thing in Morocco. If he does anything interesting, I'll let you know.

....was obliged to import our "rebbetzin" cat from Har Nof because "they" - the kids would look after her

now she is a hapless "yored" and guess who does the consoling :)??????

David, first, mazal tov. He will bring you and the family great joy. Second, the first rule of having a dog is setting boundaries and letting him know what he can and cannot do. If you don't want him to rule the house then get him off the sofa! Give him lots of love and watch him flourish.

Looks identical to my "Ted". He has been gone since 2005 after 14 wonderful years. He was my best friend and like a brother to me.
